1.INFORMAL WEDDINGS
Informal Weddings are on the rise as more couples opt for a relaxed environment. Keeping it sophisticated and fun is key! Intimate weddings means you can go all out! Money is spent on the atmosphere, entertainment and menu as couples treat their guests to one amazing intimate setting! Everything from lavish rugs down the aisles to large statement outdoor tables. They are taking over Inns in the mountains and cottages near the sea to celebrate with their closest friends and family for a weekend they are sure never to forget!
2. THE DRESS
Bridal trends for 2021 include sheer gowns with gorgeous fabrics like tulle and organza that have an ethereal vibe without any additional bulk. Sleeves! From cap sleeves to puffy and statement sleeves are the trend. Pockets, yes pocket for all those lippy’s. Tiered skirts for the full look minus the weight of normal ball gowns.
3. ECO FRIENDLY
Couples are staying organic in many ways. They are choosing utensils that are biodegradable . Recycled Paper goods such as invitations, programs and menu’s. They are staying local with their vendors including local breweries and vineyards. Opting for candlelight to save on electricity. Donating their leftovers to food banks. Shuttling guests whenever possible. And my favorite, recycling their bouquet’s and other floral arrangements by donating them to nursing homes, hospitals or shelters.
4. GROOM SUITS
Grooms suits are taking a turn for modern. Less traditional black/grey/white and more a pop of color. Some grooms are opting for royal blue, emerald green and burgundy! And by all means the sock game remains strong through 2021. Themed, sports, loud colors or stripes, these statement socks are a conversation starter and social media worthy!
5. BRIDAL FLORALS
Floral trends lean toward deconstructed designs. The arrangements are monochromatic palettes and are made of different shaped blooms. Peonies remain king. Popular colors are blush and all white bouquets with greenery.
